Strange Facts About Radha and Krsna's Fights!

Radha and Krsna are two sides of the same coin. The coin of Supreme Consciousness.
If one is considered as the yin, the other would be yang.
If one is black then the other would be white, one is the essence of male the other would be the essence of female.Just the way we would describe Shiv and Shakti.
Now they both manifested as human beings in the bygone era and played out their armouros raas leelas in the grooves of Brindavan.
We have always heard the Srimad Bhagvad talk about the past times of theirs and their constant quarrels which went off and on. Why would two of the most beloved Gods of the Indian Pantheon want to fight about? And for What reason?
What one had the other didn't have and hence the constant reason for understanding what the other had to offer was the cause of fights.Let me tell you by examples here. Can the right ear see the left ear?Can the North pole know about the South poles power of attraction? Can the male understand the exact emotions of the female? Can one lover say the exact feelings of the other? No way.
We can try to understand but can never emulate it ever!
So Krsna tried hard to know the exact feelings of Radha and the reverse was true too.
They could neither get to be the other since they were cut out of the One only. Thats the reason why we say that the two will make the whole but one independently can never make it complete. They complimented each other perfectly.
It is not about male or female but about conjoining to become the Whole!
Just the way the yin fits into the yang to make it whole.
They both cannot be the same otherwise they will be pushed poles apart but to join they have to be opposite and attract!
Hence the saying that they used to fight with each other only to come more closer to each other. It would be termed as a armorous play of consummation of the body and soul for understanding the truth!
Without the soul there can never be the body and without the body, the soul will never have existence. So either of them are required to make it work.
The factor of compatibility comes if they have to live together but they were far away from each other, yet one! Look at it from the point of the soul and the body. They both are One but the body has its ego which does not allow it to know the soul.
Only when the ego is demolished can the soul be experienced! Without the body, that too cannot be experienced, so the body has equal importance. We can only go to the unmanifest through the manifest....hence Radha's importance is as much as Krsna's.So the manifest(Radha) can only take us to the unmanifest(Krsna), so we call out to them Radhekrsna!!

For The Love Of Krsna!

When one of my disciples asked me why she should not get to read and know some of the more difficult texts whereas there are others who do that?
I told her that what is most suitable for the disciple the teacher will teach and explain.
Just the way Shri Ramakrishnaji says that the loving mother makes different dishes of fish for her children, depending on their tastes and capacities to digest. She makes fried fish, fish curry, fish soup and so on suitable to the taste of that child.
Likewise,a good teacher will teach only that which is most appropriate for the disciple and not something that may disturb the understanding of that student.
Krsna's avatar came into being so that the dissemination of the Veda's can be done in a very simplistic manner. Hence He condensed the teachings of the Veda's and the other esoteric texts and gave a very simple learning to one and all.
He gave us the various Gita's that we hear about.
The Bhagvad Gita, the Uddhav Gita, the Srimad Bhagvad, the Anu Gita and the Uttara Gita are some of the texts which were culled from His teachings.
Now here we have a great spiritual Guru Krsna posting some of the most wonderful knowledge and passing it on for the future generations to refer to without racking their brains on the more difficult texts like the Veda's and the Upanishads.
Hence when the disciple asked me about the esoteric text much more complicated than the simple Gita's I refrained from giving it to her.
Not that I doubt the brain power of that disciple, but it will simply cloud the brain further which otherwise can be used for much more simpler tasks.
There are various philosophies from the past which are to be contemplated upon more vigorously and dwelt upon and then arriving at the same destination as others.
Every philosophy concludes the same stuff but the path and approaches are different.
It is like climbing the same Mount Everest from Nepal, China,India and from other locations. The summit is the same but the approaches are different.
That which will cause us the least trouble we should take and get to the designated end point.
According to Narad Muni the most suitable path for this yuga is the Bhakti Marg so let us be as simple as we can and try to reach the ultimate goal of Krsna Prem through the path of Bhakti or Devotion.
Let us begin the journey with much simpler teachings and stories which all of us can co-relate to in our lives.
